MASter Start
INTENDED USE
MASter Start is a ready-to-use finishing coat used for levelling and plastering. It provides new opportunities to fill the larger cavities in the surfaces of buildings and to simultaneously apply plastering/finishing layers. MASter Start enables users to create plaster surfaces, fill cavities and irregularities in walls and in joints of plaster-cardboard panels and to level other surfaces with a single applied layer with thickness of approx. 0.6 mm.

0.6 mm.
PRODUCT FEATURES
MASter Start is a ready-to-use paste based on natural minerals, fillers, quartz sands and dolomites. The product contains plasticizers and ingredients increasing adhesion and hardness after the treatment. Using MASter Start enables users to apply single layer with a thickness up to 0, 6 mm (by applying another layer the thickness of approx. 1cm may be achieved). This product meets the requirements for both plasters and smoothing/levelling coats combined in one. The biggest advantage is that when you use MASter Start in place of a traditional plaster (or gypsum layer) you can proceed to the next stage of works just after 24 hours, instead of waiting 28 days required for drying and hardening of traditional plasters. MASter Start is easy to apply either manually or with a machine
GUIDELINES
The substrate (structural clay tile, gas concrete blocks, cellular concrete blocks, gypsum blocks, concrete surfaces) on which Master Start is to be used should be completely dry and uniformly bound. Before applying Master Start it is essential to prepare the substrate by applying Master Super Paint or Global Contact, as a primer and binder for substrates of this type in order to stop their absorption. We recommend to use the product on the dry and fully cured surfaces according to the recommendations of their manufacturers. Single applied layer should not be thicker than 6 mm. Next layers may be applied on the previous layers. Do not exceed 10 mm as the total thickness of layers applied in stages.
EFFICIENCY
Efficiency depends on the application method (manually, with a machine) and on the temperature of a substrate. Average consumption for a single layer with thickness of 0.3cm shall be as follows
• concrete surfaces – 2.4 kg per 1 m2
• mineral surfaces - cement and lime plasters - 2.8 kg per 1 m2
• substrates as structural tiles or aerated concrete blocks - 3 kg per 1 m2
