MasterPutz Outside is a ready-to-use paste based on natural minerals, quartz sands and dolomites. The product contains substances preventing growth of fungi and lichens. The product has a very good hydrophobic features (water resistance). It is also resistant to temperature changes and is very flexible, easy to apply and to smooth. Its should be applied with a trowel or a machine.
GUIDELINES
used should be completely dry and uniformly bound. Before applying MasterPutz Outside, it is essential to prepare the substrate by applying Master Super Paint as a primer and binder. We recommend to apply the product on sunny days with light cloud cover to avoid too rapid drying and strong exposure to sunrays of the finished layer. This product should not be applied if rainfall is expected. Wet layer is not resistant to water and freezing. Single applied layer should not be thicker than 3 mm. Next layers may be applied on the previous layers. Do not exceed 9 mm as the total thickness of layers applied in stages. In moderate sunshine and temperatures up to 24°C, single applied layer may reach 6 mm. The product dries at the surface after 4 - 6 hours at ambient temperature of 18°C to 24°C. Further processing can take place 24 hours after application, assuming that air humidity does not exceed 65%. To fully protect applied Putz Master Outside you may additionally apply Master Super Paint on its surface. It is especially recommended when highly granular products are applied on the product – this activity will improve adhesion for these products.
EFFICIENCY
Efficiency depends on the application method (manually, with a machine) and on the temperature and adsorption of a substrate. Average consumption should be as follows:
• concrete surfaces – 3.9 kg per 1 m2
• façades with a grid and adhesive – 3.5 kg per 1 m2
• mineral substrates cement-mineral plasters – 3.5 kg per 1 m2
• substrates as structural tiles or aerated concrete blocks – 4.2 kg per 1 m2
